High-speed aluminium machining, as used in the aerospace industry for example, requires constant optimization of the machining processes. In addition to the actual machining speed, an ever-increasing complexity of machining is also at the center of attention. The PFGA X-32 gantry milling machine is a completely newly developed, modular machine tool that has been specially designed for this environment.
