– Design, manufacture and integration of a new single-stage headstock with water-cooled drive motor and power range up to 35 kW / up to 5,000 rpm; -> extended application range for single-lip and BTA deep hole drilling processes
– Overhaul of the deep drilling units
– Renewal of the complete electrical system and control technology with Heidenhain TNC 640 CNC control system
– Overhaul of the X / Y / Z axes, i.e. ball screws, bearings, drives and measuring systems
– Renewal of the entire hydraulic system
