Series HDS
The extremely rigid structure and the cutting force compensator, that supports the workpiece in order to avoid deflection, allow for a quiet, smooth process that does not put too much strain on the tools. This machine features two mirror-inverted supports that are each equipped with an autonomous CNC Sinumerik contouring control system. Each support is fitted with an extendable tool slide. Example: high-performance rigid roller lathe HDSS 1000 / 8000 CNC. Drive power 210 kW, weight of workpiece 30 t, face plate and cutting force compensator.
